Well, I have neglected this poor blog over the last few weeks while I wrote papers, completed projects, and took finals. The price I pay for being a dedicated student, I guess.


Anyways, I have more to say on last month's topic of fairy tales and fantasy, but it's also the season of my favorite holiday. So over the next few weeks, get ready to talk (too much) about the super weird holiday of Christmas!


Weird? Yes, super weird! And I have plenty to say about that.


So as I prepare new material, please enjoy this comic I made a few years about Krampus (see, weird!). Quick backstory: when my little nephew was only four I thought it would be hilarious to tell him about the child-eating Christmas monster from the Alps, Krampus. I held nothing back, and I'm pretty sure I qualify as a really bad aunt because he had nightmares for weeks (go ahead with your judgements). For some reason, this whole incident inspired me to write and draw this comic. I hope you enjoy, and I hope it gives you at least one good nightmare:
